Create Music WADs with Slade3 on Linux Mint v20.2!
This video just tells you how to take some mp3's and make a music WAD file out of them for Doom, Heretic, or Hexen. I only detail how to do this for Doom 2 in the video, but the same technique applies to all of them. I use Slade3 to import the mp3 files and relabel them so the game recognizes them. I believe you could just throw them in a zip file after renaming them, and that would work too, but this technique preserves the original filenames.
I then proceed to demo level 1, the intermission, and level 2. I thought about releasing this music wad, but it would be less lame to me if it AT LEAST had 32 tracks for Doom 2. Still I'm VERY impressed by these musicians that upload their tracks to Pixabay. If I was talented for music like they are, I would do it with 1 or 2 tracks to get my name out there. I am not required to give attribution, but I'm not going to use someone else's work without doing it, so:
