This is a mod I made on Oblige. It's probably nothing special compared to what any real level designer has ever made, but they can't say they cranked out a 32-level megawad in 26 minutes either!

There are some interesting gameplay wads on this playthrough. Rampancy changes all the monsters to robots. Brutal Doom weapons-only edition makes the weapons awesome, but adds particle effects as well. Isabel is very helpful but annoying at times. Good for comic relief! This is a CHEATY playthrough. I use health regeneration. I think the Borderlands games have me too spoiled... but I was having fun, and I think playing single player gives me the right to do what I want pretty much.

All that said, nothing compares to the complexity of design and creativity of real doom levels made by real level designers. I encourage anyone looking for some QUALITY made levels to go to doomworld.com or wadarchive.com and get them from there. Do what I do. Go to a search engine and type in, "Best Doom 2 megawads". You will find some interesting forums with links to excellent quality levels and megawads.

I have uploaded the WAD I played here to MediaFire. It's a 32-level tech base with extra liquids and restricted natural environments. I'm not going to say it's great, but I think its pretty decent for an auto-generated level. It's about 146 mb, so I 7-zipped it to make the download smaller:

About what I said regarding good levels... if you would like to try a gigawad (a wad that contains many megawads), try this! It's called Compendium, and it's EXCELLENT. It's way too much fun, and the guy who designed it is talented far beyond me:
