Creepy Doom 3 Last-Hope Mod Ambience!
2An ambient video for a fan-made Doom 3 mod and custom map called Our Last Hope and now my original plan was actually to instead do a full-blown gaming video of the level but I had done it yesterday before uploading this today God knows how many attempts at recordings of myself playing this level and I was frustrated and surprised at how hard ungodly hard it was as that meant much to my frustration that whether I liked it or not I was going to have to do a few practice-runs of this level and mod akin to what I do for the 90s Doom and Duke Nukem levels.
Now it could have been just the marine or veteran difficulty settings I had on for the game but then again I have played countless other Doom 3 maps both official and custom-made and still have no trouble blasting my way through them so I casually assumed that this would as a result be the case with this mod and level. Boy O Boy, was I wrong or what. For example, you could have 100% health in the level but if you are struck by a lost soul or the green fireball of a Baron Of Hell you are a lot of times dead instantly thus requiring you to either start the level over again from scratch or just from where ever it is you may have saved perhaps. It's for this very reason I went ahead and simplified things by just making an ambient video for this map instead and will follow up with a gaming video once I have done several different practice runs of it.
