CRYSIS 1080p PT 4 - Core i5-4690K + R9 270
For the first time in five years, I have a new computer. And what better way to celebrate much increased computing power than to challenge it to do the impossible: run the original Crysis at 1080p, maxed out and try to maintain 60 FPS. Luckily, the two cores not used by the game are plenty for native footage recording too!
This is the second part of the second level: Recovery. We've reached our hostage, who has been taken under the protection of our teammate Psycho (lol). Now we must meet up with our team leader, Prophet, and move further into the island interior to investigate some of the North Korean's activities.
This was recorded with a 1080p recording resolution and lossless quality using MSI Afterburner. MS Live Movie Maker, in all it's troublesome glory was used to edit the video, and encode it, It was encoded for 60 FPS playback. If it appears twitchy, I apologize. I may switch to 30 FPS encode if it becomes bothersome and/or use a 360 controller which will smooth out camera movement.
Feedback is appreciated, positive or negative!
