Metal Gear Solid 5 - i5-4690K + Radeon R9 270 Performance & Settings for 1080p 60 FPS
It's amazing how much more FPS you can get with the adjustment of a few graphics settings, especially when the visual hit is negligible. Even more so when you consider that a constantly moving point of view starts to blur the image as it hits your eye.
First we have the game running at 1080p running all Extra High settings. Afterwards I reduced many of the setting down to High. Important properties like model detail and textures are left at Extra High. The extra performance we get out of these changes is staggering. The image is barely degraded.
Footage was recorded with MSI Afterburner with 1080p/100% quality setting. Cyberlink PowerDirector 13 was used to edit and encode the video.
