Crysis Remastered in VR // Crysis Remastered VR Gameplay // Will it VR? - Crysis Remastered Vorpx Profile - Crysis Remastered is here, the game that once pushed every PC to its very limits and became the game that many would use to benchmark how good their setup is! With a new lick of paint Crysis Remastered is a slick and updated version of an all time classic but... will it vr? Let's find out as I go Crysis Remastered max settings & try to experience Crysis Remastered VR with Vorpx!
Crysis was a game that always felt like a natural choice for VR, I had always meant to try Crysis VR / Crysis Vorpx but never got around to it, so instead of trying the original with multiple mods to enhance the visuals I thought it made more sense to try Crysis Remastered in VR. The experience was achieved using the Crysis 3 Vorpx profile, which means Crysis Remastered VR has all the bells and whistles that the other Crysis profiles have (geometry 3D, 3D FOV enhancement etc...). The only problem is these features impact the performance of the game (and create some truly wonderful visual glitches) meaning the best way to play Crysis Remastered VR is with Z-Adaptive (or Z-Normal) 3D which is a smooth and highly playable experience.
However I do find it strange that Crysis Remastered FOV settings are no where to be found?! I searched high and low for a Crysis Remastered FOV slider and did not come across one so playing in Z-Adaptive/Z-Normal will give a tight FOV that is not hugely ideal.
