Crystalis (GBC) - Part 10: By Your Powers Combined, I Am...Not as Powerful as You'd Expect

The occasionally heroic Jack fights his way through a pyramid that is inexplicably connected to the Floating Tower he's heard so much about. There he gets awfully good at destroying robots, because his utter confusion about the layout of the tower has him looping back around to the same places over and over.
Without any warning, he encounters DYNA, the final boss of Crystalis, and halfheartedly defeats it. End credits roll, and we all go home. That is, after more mazes and another final boss who totally doesn't belong at the end if you're used to the NES version. Jack puts a little effort into defeating that guy.
