CRYSTAR is a dungeon-crawling Action JRPG developed by GEMDROPS and Art in collaboration with FuRyu and published by NIS America on Switch. The game follows the adventures of Rei Hatada as she braves an Ordeal by exploring Purgatory and ridding it of Specters and Revenants to revive her sister Mirai.

So far I have been enjoying the game a whole lot. The story is gripping me emotionally along with the beautiful art and fun action gameplay that can get a little bit janky. I also gotta love the fact that the intro animation is done by SHAFT which is my favorite anime studio of course responsible for amazing shows like Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Arakawa Under the Bridge, and Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
