.hack finally made its way on the Nintendo Switch with the HD Remaster collection of .hack//G.U. which was originally comprised of three games when it was released on the PS2 in Japan and America. People like me in the EU didn't get the G.U. Trilogy until .hack//G.U. Last Recode came out on PS4 and PC in 2017 and now in 2022 for the Switch. This HD collection also added an additional fourth game that serves as an epilogue for G.U.'s story.

I enjoyed the original .hack quadrilogy a lot and I did play the PS4 version of Last Recode a few years ago. I am happy to say that the Switch version runs and looks great on the Nintendo Switch. The fact that I can now take Haseo's adventure with me on the go is amazing. But that comes as no surprise as I feel that Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2 have done a lot of solid Switch ports in the past few years.
