(This was recorded awhile back... so it will not feature the newest changes to my mods you will see in the next episodes... also this was the most editing I have ever had to do in an episode... I have also been slacking in keeping these going... I currently have 6 episodes recorded, but not yet edited... so maybe I will make this or next week a double episode week...)
Cold Case... both famous and infamous for it's unique elements... a fairly unique and one of a kind campaign... and maybe there is a reason for it being one of a ind as well...
Pros
+Tells a good story
+Unique fight in map 4
+Lots of voice acting
Cons
-The intro (I didn't show it for a reason)
-Far too many cut scenes... I will never make fun of you again Lou...
-Voice acting was mediocre
-Not made for L4D2 (will touch up on this in the conclusion)
-Environment wasn't well made when it wasn't from another game or map
-No direction when it was really needed
-Some bad choices in gameplay design
-Bad navigation

This campaign is very story driven... and that is a very unused feature for a L4D2 campaign... and I must give props for that... but the gameplay was scarified to make more for story elements... Hell, if you have watched or played it, then hopefully you know exactly where I am coming from here...
The environment, when not from No Mercy of Half Life, was uninspiring, drab, not very well done... the absurd amount of cutscenes that could have killed me... the fact that every map is almost a maze with no direction on where to go or what to do... the bad design choices like instant death traps after an impossible to survive fight... there are so many mistakes in this map that it makes me never want to play it again...
It was obviously not designed with L4D2 in mind... since it was a L4D1 map back then... there were many examples... but the biggest one was the two tanks in the water... L4D1 doesn't have water slow down... so that fight is possible there... not in L4D2...
Honestly the story wasn't that good either... bad voice acting... or at least bad timing for the voice clips... and the most lack-luster ending to a campaign I have ever seen... but like I said before... it is one of a kind... and I have to give it props for atleast being an example of what NOT to do...
It is still a classic... so I can't rate it down too much... no matter how low it should be...
