Campaign Description...
“The survivors find themselves amidst an expanding zombie apocalypse. Caught offguard, a fire starts to consume the apartment they were holing up in, and they must find a way to escape the building and the city. The power plant serves as the final obstacle between you and the river. ”
A fairly short campaign with versus mode in mind from the ground up... Or so I was told... You can see the infected advantage when you look around...

Aesthetics
/ Detailing was great in some areas... and very scarce in others...
+ Environment was fairly interesting...
- Some graphical errors...
+ Areas with detail were very well made...
+ Unique theme...
Gameplay
+ Player leading was good...
/ Supplies seemed scarce...
+ Designed with versus in mind...
/ Versus mind set made the terrain one long death trap at times...
/ Chapter lengths were a bit short or long...
- Slow elevator...
Performance
/ Slight studdering...
+ No apparent crashes or conflicts...
/ Mostly well optimized... nut some frame drops in the beginning...
Finale
- High difficulty spike
- How to start and escape was not clear...
/ Arena's design heavily favored infected...
/ Minimal supplies...
Final Verdict
Neutral (Recommended in Versus)
It is not a bad campaign by any stretch of the imagination... but it is also far from any stretch of the imagination when it comes to “Fantastic”...
When I first saw this campaign a couple years ago (at this point)... I was proudly toted as a great versus map... and I will freely admit that this was fun in versus... I did a round or two in the bots in versus-coop... and this is indeed a good versus map... but those very versus map ideals map the campaign versus slightly nerve-racking... and not in a good way...
In Chapter 2, and onward, the difficulty spike starts to climb due to the infected advantage spot (i.e. death traps for the survivors)... And it only continues to climb when you reach the Finale...
Aesthetics wise... The campaign as a whole was fairly decent... many areas were extremely well detailed and thought out... but this only made areas that were as highly detailed stick out more...
All in all... In versus... It is all pretty good... but in Coop... it is mediocre at best... and worst...
