Cy-Clone Game Sample - PC/Indie

Well, I haven't really played any games published by Big Fish Games, but I was truly shocked that BFG was one of the only people with a video for this game! Cy-Clone is a very interesting shooter that uses an interesting game mechanic that makes it different from many doujin/independant/PC shooters out there. Anyone remember Gaiares? In that game, you could fire off a weapon known as the "TOZ" which allowed you to get various abilities depending on the enemy that the TOZ touched. Cy-Clone has a similar premise; You control an alien prototype spaceship that sucks enemies into a vortex...however, you don't just get a special weapon like you did in Gaiares; you get a standard shot that varies depending on the enemy that you suck into your vortex...a special shot that varies from the enemy you suck up...AND you even inherit the absorbed enemy's shape! In short, you generally become the enemy!
The great thing about the game is that you can really become strategic due to the varying abilities of the enemies. You don't always have a long range shot though; some weapons are short range and the weapons have a variety of uses. The video probably explains the game better than I can, but I guess you can say it's a combination of Blazeon and Gaiares. The game is pretty short, but has some decent visuals, excellent music, and plays like a solid shooter with lots of action. Enjoy.
