Daemon Vector gameplay Steam Deck [Docked] Blind playthrough [FULL GAME]
There is a lot of videos on YT with various games tested on Steam Deck. Most of them present the footage of the screen and how the game looks ON Steam Deck. Some people, however, use their Steam Deck as a desktop PC or a regular console. My tests intend to show how the game looks and performs on an external screen, in full HD (not in 4k for performance reasons) with certain scaling options.
One of the things I recently tended to do with my Steam Deck has been finding old, obscure and less-known games and trying them out on Steam Deck. That is why when a game store from another city appeared in my city with a showcase of their assortment, I went there and tried to find any hidden gems. And by that I mean CDs from magazines. Back in the day, game magazines were the most common (and sometimes the only) way to buy genuine game copies. They were usually released in form of CDs/DVDs packed with minigames, demos, extra content and one to four (or sometimes more) full games. And that is how I found a copy of Daemon Vector a month ago. Judging from the pictures, I thought it would be a hack&slash but actually it turned out to be a stiffer action game with very basic RPG elements. So, as usual in this case, I installed the game on my PC then copied the game directory directly to my Steam Deck and started fiddling with the launch settings. This video presents the entire playthrough, including "edngame" content in form of two dungeons and a short gameplay with the second of the two available main characters.
