In this episode of Skul the Hero Slayer, I'll be using Dark Paladin with an Artifact 6 and swap based build! Dark Paladin is a character who very recently got buffed into oblivion, becoming one of the strongest characters in the entire game. His main gimmick is he generates energy with every skill he casts, and when that energy bar is filled he, before recently, would generate 10 shield, and that shield would amplify his magic damage and change his basic attacks from physical to magical, and they now unleash a slash of energy. Before the main thing keeping Dark Paladin from being good was 10 shield simply wasn't enough, almost every source of damage at DM10 deals well over 10, so maintaining that shield was very hard, as well as he didn't generate energy quick enough. 1.9 saw Dark Paladin buffed though, changing his basic to always be magical, he now generates 20 shield, and he generates more energy per skill casted. These buffs changed the game, and now as I said before Dark Paladin is among the best. So, that's enough about Dark Paladin, let's get into the build! Artifact 6 as well as Artifact+ are, frankly, a bit of a meme. Even Artifact 4 is a meme, it's not a BAD inscription, but it is not the best way to win a run. That said, it's not bad, and it's maybe better than I or anyone else gives it credit. Not only that, but another focus of the build is Mutant 3, because we're heavily incentivized to swap between our Dark Paladin and partner skull! Also, sprinkle some god curses in for the damage sustain, and we have a recipe for success. So, that's the build, Dark Paladin with Artifact+ and Mutant 3! Joined by Gambler, can this swapping duo hurl meteors on all who stand in their way, like Lord Radahn?
