Whenever I see either the Golden Wing Crest Shield or Sacred Bloom Shield and I'm on one of my caster builds there will come a point where I will want to spam spells into it. For no other reason than to see if they'll even attempt a spell parry. Between all the caster types I've used, specific projectiles I've spammed, and amount of the times I've seen those shields though I have not found anyone who even made an attempt. Sure it sort of makes sense blocking spells with a magic resistant shield and just rolling is safer in comparison to doing a spell parry but I'm just disappointed that I never had anyone even attempt a parry on one of my spells.
