Dark Souls 3: Know Your Inventory (Or You'll Have to Fix It in Post) (Raw Clip)
4When you're doing parry swaps there's always a decent chance and many reasons that something will go wrong. They are fun to do however and that is why some crit fishers continue to do them despite it being far less viable than just toggling to a chaos dagger. One of the important points to cleanly doing swaps that's not immediately obvious however is that sorting your inventory is pretty much mandatory.
If you don't you'll go for a swap and will take too much time getting to the item you want to swap to or you'll get the wrong item. As I only do fashion swaps I only concern myself with armor sorting but on this character my bottomless box is already full and I keep one of each armor piece on me for muling. Before this invasion I used to have my inventory setup to have 3 Symbols of Avarice so that I can press down in the menu but on all my other characters it's a right input and muscle memory is sometimes hard to overcome. Sometime after this invasion I got a friend to help me out by giving me several more Symbols of Avarice so now I can press right or down and still get my preferred swap. :P
If you're wondering about the beginning of the clip, I generally don't kill AFK people. Instead I like taking a picture with me next to them, hiding in the level for a moment, and sending them the image through PSN with some funny comment. Most of the time they don't come back and I just end up black crystal-ing (sometimes leaving an ember if their setup is cute). Although I don't always get a response when they do come back the ones I have gotten have all been funny and quite enjoyable.
