Dark Souls installed and configured without any problems. Widescreen support was perfect out-of-the-box. I didn't even use DSfix like everyone suggested. The only problem I had was dying a LOT and mouse tracking. Since Dark Souls is a console port to PC, the camera tracking was meant for analog controllers and isn't fine-tuned for a mouse. The camera movements with the mouse are very "jerky" and hard to control. I found that using the keyboard for moving your character causes the camera to smoothly follow. Then only use the mouse for fighting.

Note: Video Frame Rateloss is due to playing and recording. Real game frame rates are great when not recording.
