Dark Souls Part 055: Titanite Chunk Grinding and Shiva of the East
0I start off this video with a lot more Darkwraith grinding. After collecting a decent amount of Titanite Chunks, I take them to Andre the Blacksmith to upgrade my weapons and armor. Then after killing the denizens of Darkroot Forest, I talk to the cat Alvina and join the Forest Hunter Covenant. As soon as you join, it makes another member of the covenant named Shiva of the East, as well as his bodyguard, appear outside the structure. I talked to them. Before leaving the forest, I rest at a Bonfire, and then show that as long as you are in the Forest Hunter covenant, the denizens of Darkroot Forest will be your allies. They won't attack unless provoked.
The next place I go to is Blight Town through the shortcut at the New Londo Ruins. Here I meet Shiva of the East once again. He has a gesture you can learn and he sells many rare weapons. I went ahead and bought a few of them. After that I fully kindle both the Blight Town Bonfires. After warping to Quelaag's Domain and heading back to Shiva, I kill his bodyguard to get the Dark Wood Grain Ring. I never plan to use it, but this ring makes the fastest dodge roll even better if you equip it. Of course, this makes Shiva mad at me, and actually kicks me out of the Forest Hunter Covenant, so I quickly warp out of there.
I make a trip back to Oswald in the Undead Parish in order to Request Absolution for my sins. After heading back to Firelink Shrine, I rejoin the Way of White Covenant, and then exit the game.
