0Our next main story mission is a fun one that introduces a new mechanic. Enemies can heal as long as the large crystals are up. It's a small regen, seemingly a percentage of health, but not overwhelming. It simply means that you cannot just snipe away and run. Also if you destroy said crystal, some enemies connected seem to die as soon as it does. This is difficult however seeing as the crystals regen absurdly fast. ~340 a second. It takes a concentrated assault to destroy them without interruption.
Oh and watch where you step once you destroy the big crystals. Lest ye be surrounded by casters or worse.
