Pineapple pizza is a ,,damage-stress“ team, here are roles of characters:
1st: Crusader (damage trinkets) - damage dealer
2nd: Man at arms (stun resist trinket + stress trinket) - stress dealer
3rd: Abomination (damage trinkets) - damage dealer
4th: Occultist (dodge trinket + stress trinket) - stress dealer
PROS:
1) Porcupine
2) Great damage output
3) Great stress output
4) Great DoT output
5) Great healing potential
6) 3 disruptors
7) 2 stunners
CONS:
1) Stress is a menace
2) Marks are a menace
3) Stuns are a menace
Pineapple pizza is a nice damage team with great strenght of stress and DoT. You have 3 (self)healers, 3 disruptors, 2 stunners and 2 riposters. Unfortunately this team is vulnerable against mark and stress teams.
I tried to play a few strategies, like „support Crusader“, „virtue team“, „porcupine“ and „original setup“. I tried both variantions of Man at arms (damager / stresser), both are actually good. And Abomination (melee beast / DoT puker), DoT variantion is much better choice.
My advice: Start with Abomination for opening the riposte, next use Occultist for disruption, then Crusader for stunning someone. Lastly Man at arms for buffing the team.
A short time ago I played similiar team to this [Pineapple pizza team] and it was horrendous. After playing this comp, I looked in my notes and saw, there’s another “Pineapple pizza” team. My mind was deppressed, I'm gonna have to play this team. Now I got the chance, and… I was shocked. I was shocked, how good is this team! Changing Houndmaster to Crusader is much better choice, now you have a pressure for opponent and higher chance to stun someone. I played even “original setup”, sadly against novice player, but match before I played against apprentice player with DoT team and I lost the match.
Honestly this is much better team, I enjoyed the playing. Try them and see for yourself!
