Zweiter Teil der Norland Trilogie, 1994 wieder von Attic entwickelt. Der zweite Teil wurde technisch wie grafisch stark aufgewertet, so kann man endlich als Fernkämpfer schräg auf Gegner schießen (eine wirklich große Erleichterung), das Abspeichern kostet keine AP (Abenteuerpunkte, also Erfahrungspunkte) mehr, beim Rasten können die vorhergehenden Einstellungen zur Wache, Jagd und Kräutersammeln verwendet werden und auf der Automap kann man nun via Doppelklick zu den jeweiligen Häusern reisen, nachdem man sie entdeckt hat. Grafisch hat sich ebenfalls eine Menge getan, die Helden streifen nun im schönsten, flüssigen 3D durch die Städte und Verliese, es wurden viele animierte Zwischenequenzen hinzugefügt und selbst beim Einkleiden wird nun eine hübsche Animation abgespielt. Dazu kommt noch ein sagenhafter (CD-) Soundtrack (Anspieltip "Lowangen" !) von Guido "Guy" Henkel, welcher später an Planescape: Torment mitarbeitete Alles zusammengenommen für mich der beste Teil der Nordlandtrilogie.

Second part of the Northland trilogie, developed by Attic in 1994. Star Trail ( thats the english subname for the second part) has got a lot of technical and graphical inprovements, in part 2 the missle and magic users can shoot diagonal (a really great improvement), the saving doesnt costs AP (Adventure points, same as experience points), when camping you can save the options from the last camping and on the automap you can now travel to the buildings via double click after you have discover them. The graphics have also improved a lot, the heroes now travel in a beautiful, animated 3D graphic through the cities and dungeons, the game has more animated subsequences and even when the heroes equip something there is an nice animated sequence.In addtion, Star Trail has a fabulos (CD-) soundtrack (listening tip "Lowangen"!) form Guido "Guy" Henkel, who was later a programmer of Planescape Torment. All in one, Star Trail is my favorite part of the Northland Trilogy.
