3) This is the tenth mission in the campaign for the Mirage 2000C in DCS 1.5.5. The Mirage 2000C is a single-engine multi-role fighter capable of firing long range missiles and dropping precision guided munitions (using a laser on the ground). It's very maneuverable and is a testament to French aircraft engineering.
The campaign covers some initial training exercises that expand upon the training missions for the M2000C. It's highly recommended to complete all the training missions prior to starting the campaign, as the campaign expands on knowledge acquired during the training.
As the description says, this mission involves escorting an AWACS and ensuring it doesn't come under attack. I wind up being directed to investigate an odd radar signal that appears during the escort mission, and I encounter a nasty surprise. However, the Mirage's dogfighting capabilities make it more than a match for anything the enemy can throw at it.
I'm using a jitter fix for my CH Pro Throttle. I kept getting the same jitter no matter what USB port I used, so I'm happy someone had a software solution to the problem. You can find out more about this here:
