Hal Foster.
I forgot Hal Foster did Prince Valiant.
Then again so did Mark Schultz and Gary Gianni, but we'll talk about that some other day.
This book is one of those I stumbled upon a few years after it was released. I just don't keep up with comics like I did as a teen, but I loved just how bold and different this was. And the pedigree of the artists and writers involved!
While there's definite favorites of mine in here, there's certainly a little bit of something for everyone in here.
Naturally this is out of print and knuckleheads are jacking the price up. Shop at your own risk!
