Today we're going to take a look at two artists operating on different ends of the comic spectrum and how they both put their own spin on the famous albino swordsman.
Funny thing, but I feel like both artists use Elric more as a piece of scenery than as a main character in their art. I'm not trying to knock either's work, but I feel Cawthorn is more about the big sweeping epic moments, and Druilet is more into the opulence and perverseness of Imrryr, the capital of the Melnibone empire.
I'll admit that I'm a bit more partial to Whelan and Amano's takes on Elric, but that may be that's what I'm most familiar with.
