Just picked up (and finished) the latest Junji Ito book I found translated into English. Go elsewhere for spoilers as I don't like doing that to others!
While it didn't reach the highs of some of his earlier works, it was definitely entertaining.
I feel it could have used a few more chapters to tie things together, much in the sense that early chapters of his Uzumaki manga are quite episodic but start to come together as the book continues. There are quite a few disjointed but interesting chapters early on, but then the story proper kicks in to full gear and doesn't really slow down.
A fun look at man's place in the universe, certainly.
