I recreated the performance of the J-11 / Su-35 launch of the R77M missile. The best that ghost of Kyiv would be flying would be equivalent to what we have in DCS. The Mig-29s are unlikely to have R77M and just the R77 at best.. The Su35 had an earlier radar lock of 80+ km, whereas in DCS I was only able to get the radar to lock at 80km. In addition, the missile launch from 78km failed, but 51km (LA range it worked quite well) Here is the test and simulation.
