ddc2021: Immersive Audio for VR Escape Rooms - from Assassins Creed to Prince of Persia
While Stefan Randelshofer (Audio Director, Ubisoft Düsseldorf) and Tino Schleinitz (Lead Audio Designer, Ubisoft Düsseldorf) were working on their VR Ubisoft Escape Games series, they realized that the way they implemented and created Game Audio in their other AAA titles was not fully suitable for this technology. While they were searching for the best solutions, they encountered various challenges on the creative and the technical level that they needed to tackle. In this talk they will share their findings and parts of their solutions with you.
This talk was part of the Devcom Developer Conference 2021 Line-Up. The #ddc2021 is the official game developer conference of gamescom.
