Dead Space 3's addition of cover-based shooting and enemies which are fully human might come off as slightly unnecessary, but it also doesn't have enough of an impact on the overall gameplay experience to warrant a great deal of attention. Suddenly switching from dismemberment to headshots can be a bit of a mental challenge, though, but I guess variety is the spice of life even on remote alien-infested planets...
