5Deadrop is the most hyped FPS in Web3 Gaming right now! But, is it up to its fame? Should you spend your precious time playing it? Is it worth the 25$ that you need to pay?
Deadrop is an extraction vertical shooter which is a whole new concept in gaming. Imagine PUBG but instead of having a horizontal map, you have a vertical map, like a skyscraper.
The goal is to be the last man standing. But there are other options, like using an extraction chopper or zipline to exit the match.
But now you wonder. What's the point of exiting the match?
The point is to save the acquired loot, which can be stored in your stash. On every Deadrop match players start with the weapons they bring from their stash. If they have no weapons, players can only start with a pistol.
Every time you die you lose everything. I guess by now, the point of Deadrop is to acquire as much loot as possible.
The game is being built by Midnight society and it's on pre-alpha. Midnight society will build other games in the future. When it comes to crypto tokens there is still none. The team also didn't mention on which blockchain they'll build their web3 game.
The only thing the project has when it comes to Blockchain assets are the NFT Founder Passes. These NFTs give you a lot of benefits on Midnight Society's ecosystem but they aren't cheap. The floor is right now on open sea at 0.54 $ETH.
