21Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor has now officially launched out of Early Access with Version 1.0, bringing the chaotic co-op action of Deep Rock Galactic into the survivor-like, bullet heaven genre. But how well does it all work when you’re just one dwarf, with no backup, against an endless swarm of angry bugs?
In this review, I’ll be digging into everything Survivor’s full release has to offer. From its fast-paced mining and shooting, to the randomized weapons and upgrades, the roguelike progression system, and the surprisingly hefty amount of unlocks and long-term goals. I’ll also go over the mission structure, side objectives, overall feel, and what the game still struggles with - especially in terms of repetition and limited variety.
