Back with another dub but, this time, its Queen, Berdly, and Noelle.
Aside from the joking dub I did of Queen and Noelle in the Spamton video and a few lines in my Hazbin Hotel Alastor video, this is my first real attempt to voice female characters.

Queen's voice was my attempt to get as close to her in-game voice samples as possible with some added effects to make her sound more robotic. I read all of her lines into an empty Florecitas can then cleaned up the audio in Audacity. The added OHs at the beginning and end of the line “We’re a team now, remember?” is a reference to over the top English dubbing for female anime characters in 90s and early 2000s.

Also, I did the laughs myself instead of using the in-game sample~

Noelle's voice (despite having the fewest lines of dialogue), was the hardest voice for me because I had to push my voice higher than I normally would while also trying to make her voice not only sound natural but, also make it sound how I (personally) would imagine her voice.

Aside from how she's written in the game, the best way to describe how she sounds (to me) would be that one girl you know in class that doesn't talk often but, whenever she does talk it sounds like you might be the first person she talked to since she left the house that morning.
I know that's oddly specific but, I had a lot of friends like that in high school so that's where the inspiration came from lol

Berdly's voice is well...what I thought he sounded like since I played Chapter 1. Best way to describe his voice would be Zorak from Space Ghost (Coast to Coast) but, as an annoying classmate.

As for the sound design, one thing I managed to do was time Queen's theme contextually sync up with key moments in the scene like when Berdly startles the Queen, the pause where its implied Kris is asking Berdly where Noelle and Queen went, or when Queen "tricks" Berdly into thinking she's not there.
There's a lot of little instrumental/verbal cues throughout the scene worth listening for!
Its a subtle aspect of the video I'm really proud of~

I also experimented with sound occlusion so if you're wearing headphones, sounds like Queen's footsteps should come from the right channel and gradually move to the center; the same also applies for when Berdly enters and exits.

I'm planning on dubbing the other Queen scenes eventually!
