Demo of GTX 750 ti runnig Far Cry 4 and teabagging a dog...
The 750 ti is actually pretty good at running Far Cry 4 for such a low power card. It cannot maintain 60fps with settings at Ultra, or even High. In fact, it helps to turn a lot of effects off, but you can still get nice visuals.
I have this game and have beaten more than half of it on the Xbox One. Even with several settings on low and many effects turned off, this is still far more impressive on the 750 ti than it is on the Xbox One.
I value smoothness, so I do try to stay at 60fps, but I do try to make visuals pop to justify getting this on the computer. The settings in this video make about 30% of what's on your screen pop and look somewhat gorgeous at any given time (during the daytime). The textures are on Ultra, and geometry is on High.
The game is highly playable pretty much always and somewhat impressive a lot of the time, even on this card. If you just want a quick and easy graphics fix, this card is great. I put it in an OEM computer without making any other modifications at all. I'm currently looking into a better card, which will require changing more components, but if you want to keep the rest of your setup (and already have a 400W power supply), then this card is great bang for the buck (and effort).
As far as this video's gameplay goes, I was in the middle of showing the graphics off and got distracted by things to do, which is a perfect example of what makes Far Cry so replayable. I was going to scrap uploading this, until I noticed how good the flame effects looked on the exploding cars. And then the pack of dogs attacked me while I was blowing the cars up.
