Descent MP Showcase - Neo Neptune
0It was a good, long while after Vignettes before I started getting back into anything remotely Descent related. It was during my deployment of fall 2011, spring 2012 where I started getting into multiplayer again. I met Jaylen Seymour, otherwise known as Shadow Hyena and he absolutely loved my levels but felt most of them were well balanced and whatnot. So I asked him what a well balanced level was, and he simply stated Neptune. So I look hard at it and got inspired to remake it. The design and size dimensions were the same, however the look would be slightly different. It ended up not being as successful as some of my follow on attempts, but it sparked inside me the urge to build for Descent once again, long after I had thought I was quitting! So thanks to Shadow Hyena for that inspiration at least!
