After reviewing 'War Grid' from Sapphire Wolf and the awesome 'TRON' like textures he created for the level, I wanted to take a stab at my own original design based of his textures. After some asking around, they appeared to be open source and later Sapphirewolf gave the okay for their use. I decided to go on an original design that took into account a lot of what makes Ranger-favorite levels popular: inter-connectivity and multiple routes between areas for tactical strategy. It got popular very quickly that even on the day of release, I played in a 8 player game in it! Crazy!
Anyway, we are now caught up with the preset as of this posting. I have not made any more Descent levels outside of these ones and Bahagad Outbreak, Lost Levels, Enemy Within, and Descent Vignettes. I do not plan on making anymore MP levels unless pressured into doing so.
