Descent MP Showcase - Azure Catacombs
0I do not remember who made 'Bill the Cat' for Descent 3, but it remains to this day my favorite Descent 3 multiplayer level. After replaying it again after an extended absence, I felt the strong urge to de-port this to a Descent 1/2 version. I wanted to do honor to the original source as best I could and to that end, I feel I succeeded when Ryusei joined a MP game and mentioned, "No wonder this level felt so familiar, I loved Bill the Cat!" That, to me, was the moment where I knew I nailed the conversion. Thanks again to Sirius for providing some excellent texture work which made Azure Catacombs look above and beyond what it could ever have been! It is another large level, like Damned Warehouse, and plays better with 4 or more players.
