DESTINY 2 | BUNGIE NEEDS TO DO THIS IN THEIR GAME! Destiny 2 Should Implement A Loyalty Program
Destiny 2 Can Be Pricey at times for some people and can cost as much as 3 games to keep up to date with all the expansions, so therefore Bungie should implement a consumer loyalty program that reards fans who are frequent buyers, early buyers, play a lot, and achieve a lot!

“Im sorry but you got it wrong its more like wow, wow is the same way that you play for the new expansion and microtransactions like the horse armor. The moon is not a reskin it is a reimagining and on they need the money more now they have no support like activtion or sony.”
I responded by saying,
“I can understand them needing the money now, but I still feel the customer loyalty program is a reasonable implementation. Afterall aren't the warframe guys also independent?”
And to this response he brought up how bungie is far larger than the company developing warframe, so my thoughts on all of this is first Wow has been doing a similar pricing model for a while, and there are plenty of other games out there that do this, which is why I can understand still charging for expansions and I personally think expansions are better then games that rely on season passes as it usually means that the game will receive large updates at set points and deliver a ton of new content. Bungie is also a large company with a lot of employees, and being independent does mean they will need to self-fund everything within their company, so they do need more money than other may need. So as compensation the current model can stay, but I still think my customer loyalty program is a great one to implement. The main reason I don’t like the current model for the game is because of how expensive it is for hardcore players like me, and I buy a lot of games throughout a year, therefore Destiny taking up the price tag of around 2 games in that time frame is a lot. I also usually play with my friends in whatever I do on the xbox, and most of them don’t buy as many games as I do and don’t spend as much of their budget on games. This means most of them end up skipping Destiny 2 and its expansions, and I’d love nothing more than for them to play and experience the game with me. Therefore I think my idea of a customer loyalty program is very reasonable, as it rewards loyal fans, lessens the blow on what the fans spend in the game, and even rewards players who try and experience as much as the game offers. This proposed program would make it to where returning expansion consumers get discounts on DLCs, that increases over time with a Cap. Ways to achieve and increase this discount would be performing tasks such completing a lot of achievements, completing x amount of stories, and quest, attaining specific exotic armor and weapons, finishing x percentage of the entire game, and even by purchasing expansions and DLC. I don’t know the specific discount amount, or what specific task would be used in the algorithm to determine what discount percentage players would receive on their next expansion purchase, but this is just a rough idea after all and I think I’ve described it pretty well. This is the same kind od deal as companies who say after you buy x amount of products you get one free or a percentage off the price tag of your next purchase. This benefits the developers a it will convince a large amount of the player base to be more involved with the game and continue to purchase expansions early on instead of waiting. It will also benefit the consumer as it makes keeping up with destiny as a consistent hobby cheaper, and also gives you another incentive to really get engrossed in the game’ universe and try to accomplish as much as you can. I believe this would be a win-win for both parties, but I want to know what you all think as well. Do you think this would be a good idea, or do you just want the exact same model that currently exist?
