WHY BIOWARE NEEDS TO MAKE ANOTHER MASS EFFECT! With Bioware In Trouble Only A Gem Will Save Them
After BioWare's constant fumbles it's important that BioWare makes sure that their next game is a 10/10 or a masterpiece if they hope to ever gain back the trust and respect of their fans. I think the game that has the best chance of saving the studio isn't Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic 3, Dragon Age 4, or Anthem 2, but rather a new mass effect game (mass effect 4) that lives up to the franchise name!

Picture your favorite or best game of all time. When you do this the game that comes to your mind is probably something like skyrim, with its vast open world canvas ripe for you to explore and become anyone you wish , the Wticher 3 with its unmatched beauty and storytelling, and incredible detail making you truly feel like a Witcher, the newest god of war with groundbreaking visuals on the ps4, and breathtaking combat, Fallout new vegas with one of the most complex and intricate worlds ever created where the paths and choices are truly plentiful and meaningful. While all of these are truly incredible games made by extremely gifted and talented developers, for me one game, or rather gaming franchise that is more that worthy to sit up high amongst these titans of the industry, is mass effect. Now by now its widely known that the last mass effect, Andromeda was received luke warm at best, and despite whether or not if you think that was a good game, it can’t be denied that the original mass effect trilogy was something of an anomaly in the gaming space, a product that only comes around once a gnereation. It was a gaming franchise with the world building, characters, story, emotion, and depth to rival franchises as large as star wars. Of course I’m very aware of people who think that mass effect is just a reskinned version of star wars, and while to an extent that is a little true, as that was the goal of the developers when creating the first mass effect, I think the mass effect world is as good as star wars. While it did heavily draw inspiration from star wars, it has certainly become a unique and beautiful world all on its own. Throughout the 360/ps3 era, I would argue that the best trilogy in gaming is the mass effect franchise due to how masterfully crafted every single game was, and how your choices and paths carried meaning from game to game, with the exception of the original mass effect 3 ending. The games were all a massive critical and commercial success and sparked a fandom that is still very alive today, however that fandom is slowly diminishing as this generation hasn’t seen a proper mass effect sequel, andromeda was an ok game, but didn’t live up anywhere near the massive expectations of us fans who believed it would be the next best game of the generation. It may have gotten better but when being made by an inexperienced studio, the lack of dlc, and the eventual shut down of this Bioware b team, the game was left in its vanilla state, and the mass effect franchise was put on hiatus.
.....
Our hopes and dreams were not entirely crushed though, as articles and statements released after Andromeda’s failure made it seem as if that game was made in one of the most awful development processes of all time, with issues and problems of every type, on every level. We were told that the next game from real Bioware, Bioware Edmonton, would make up for Andromeda and exceed our expectations. However, by now everyone knows the catastrophe of Anthem and its post-launch roadmap, and if Bioware was under fan scrutiny after Andromeda, I can’t even put into words what kind of scrutiny the next game will receive after Anthem. For a while, it seemed like this would mean the eventual closing of Bioware. Afterall they had released only 3 games for this console generation. Dragon Age: Inquisition was met with critical praise and good sales, but many fans argued post-launch that the game wasn’t actually that great and was ...
