Developing with confidence: automated tests in Unity - Patryk Fijałkowski || GameSwift ||
During the talk, we'll create an automated test pipeline for a simple Unity project from scratch. The created pipeline will be based on GitHub Actions, the most popular free CI/CD platform. It will use Odin Validator to ensure the correctness of assets on every introduced project change. Then, we will utilize Unity Test Framework - an effective solution to test game mechanics and functionalities. Finally, we will go through the StarHeroes test pipeline, which allows our team to deploy up to 3 minor and 1 major patch annually, without compromising quality or stability.
