This talk looks at language, culture and positive representation within games and the power of this. It will be peppered with real life examples, both good and bad, that really demonstrate the real effects of both paths. From representation in games, but also top community and within the studio. How to approach questions of representation with an open heart and develop methods of co-design. It closes with the steps we can take to be inclusive and give voice to the peoples and cultures we are making games about. Including the importance of hiring cultural consultants.
