Epic Games has launched a store to compete with the likes of Steam, Discord, GOG and more on PC. They did their big reveal at The Game Awards and announced several exclusives or timed exclusives to the platform.

The big change is in their 88%/12% split for publishing on the store compared to Steam's 70%/30%. This means more money for developers.
