Normal CHAOS

The CHAOS fight is relatively simple. You need to destroy the Soul Cannon and the 2 Launchers on its side. They are very HP trigger happy when they will trigger HP attack when they have 4k HP.
- The Launchers have some nasty debuffs called Old and reduce your character stats by from 10% to 100% (at level 5). They can be resummoned by the Soul Cannon.

- The main Soul Cannon has a couple of high octanes BRV attacks - Fusillade (inflict DEF Down +/++), High-Powered Cannon (grants ATK Up +/++), Soul Laser (AOE BRV) and its Armor-Piercing Beam (Recovers from Break, BRV+HP, used after its 50% aura). The recast ability is very dangerous and it grants the Soul Cannon BRV, before unleashing an AOE BRV+HP with a 3 turn Sap Debuff. Sap will sap the afflicted target's BRV to the boss. So it is gaining BRV as when your turn pass. The Soul Cannon cannot be launched. The aura gains have a BRV reduction effect. So non-EX+3LB characters will have a problem in shaving BRV at the later part of the stages.

AOE BRV shaving is critical. As long as you keep the enemies broken, you will be fine. Do note all enemies are required to be defeated in order to end the stage. The bosses strongly resist magic and ranged attacks. So you need to bring an enchanter for support if you intend to bring a magic/ ranged units.

Challenge CHAOS (to access: you need to clear the normal CHAOS first)

To get that coveted BT token, you need to use the event synergy team. Only Cait offers healing among all 6 synergy characters so you pretty much need to bring him for this Challenge CHAOS. The Challenge is very restricted but doable as long as you have the event synergy gear. The Challenge Quest does not have the KO requirement but it is hard to meet the score when you get a KO (a penalty of 20% will hurt a lot). The boss has only 1 aura gain at 50% and no weapon resistances.
