DFFOO GL (The Power of Knowledge CHAOS) Aphmau, Sazh, Aranea
Bahamut Summon, Keiss EX+3LB friend
Note: All 3 characters are EX+3LB. Aranea and Aphmau have their bloom passives. Aphmau has 3x Royal Puppeteer Boost **. Sazh has his sphere and character boards.
Wave 1: Tears Eyes x2 (completed on turn 22)
Try to focus on finishing wave fast with minimal HP damage. Aphmau should use her EX, HP+, BRV+, Skill, EX rotation. Sazh should battery the party with an Attack boost while striking with Aim. Aranea should try to conserve her skills while focusing on finish off the battle fast. She left with 5 skills each entering the boss wave. The bosses have very strong defenses when their HP is lower. But Sazh's Attack Boost will handle that.
Wave 2: Evil Gaze x2 (completed on turn 67)
Before I continue to elaborate on the strategy.
Do take note that the following skills have a high turn rate - Aphmau's S2 and Sazh S2. You can do a long press to determine where the unit will be at. At any point in time, you need to have a character won't be broken between the boss turns. So you will be able to any use emergency BRV shaving in the event the boss gaining instant turn upon breaking your unit. If the boss is taking too many turns between your party, have Aranea delay the unit furthest from the turn order. When the boss is getting other auras other than red, avoid getting breaks.
If they are red, you can attack safely as long as you have characters won't be broken to remedy the turn order. Aranea's consecutive turns with her EX buff and Aphmau's 2 turns from her EX Puppeteer buff is very useful. Sazh helps a lot in the battle with his buff extension and his EX can shave lots of BRV as well.
I have used a baiting strategy (i.e. let the boss do a certain HP attack) since the boss's Ram is pure HP attack (6k to 7k with my Aranea). It is better than it messes up your turn order. But you need to be careful using this as one fatal move may result into a fatal KO. Don't worry about the HP requirements as you will heal up with Aphmau's BRV+ (Mnejing)
When both Evil Gazes are targeting all, I summon and further breaking delay to extend the breathing space by stealing more turns for the party. when boss turns are close, I swap out Keiss for Aranea (she is left with 1x S1 and EX). Use Hero Support to spam the launches. Use AOE BRV attacks so that you can trigger launch both. The more launches you can trigger, the more damage you can burst them down. When Aranea is back, both Evil Gaze should be easier to handle for killings.
Score: 999k (7 breaks)
Additional notes on the Evil Gaze's phases
- Normal: It is another breather period. It will speed their process to Red if you let them break too often. Watch out for Dusk Wing. They could use Ram (if have enough BRV) or Black Candela. Gliding Leg has a high turn rate. Helical Drive has 2 turn delay. Watch out for that as it will mess up your turn order.
- Red: The boss has ATK and SPD under this state. They will use the + variant of their abilities which guarantee breaks. Zack will be the target for them to break so at least Alphinaud and Aphmau can focus on their DPT. It takes around 3-4 turns before the boss starts to lose steam and the aura goes blue. Avoid getting in a situation where the character targeted is in the middle of the boss turns and there is no one in between to avoid the breaks. If you see them targeting All, it is a near-guaranteed game over since Dusk Wing+ guarantees AOE break. (unless you have killed one of them in advance)
- Blue: You will see the message that they tired out. During this phase, they will take 2-3 actions to build back their momentum when they go to normal. So this is technically a breathing period. If you let them break your party, they could go directly in the Red zone.
- Yellow: They will gain instant turn upon breaking and follow up HP attacks (Ram or Black Candela). Avoid getting broken by them when they are in this state.
