Achievement: Turns 127, Score 467,265, HP loss: 2,123, BRV Breaks taken 11
Stage Data: Tier Main Gimmick – Resist Magic
- Wave 1 – Kill them in this order Cait, Cid and lastly Seifer. Cait can buff the party. Have Faris uses her Cannonfire+ to dispel them (you need to use 2 skills uses for this). Cid can be dangerous once he gains 2 buffs. Beware of his Dragon Drive (which can dispel non-framed buff). Seifer is the most harmless of the trio. Squall needs to conserve his skills. Thanks to Sylvia Blessing, I am able to gain BRV via an unorthodox method. Faris uses this wave to master her abilities.
- Wave 2 – Yang is more dangerous than Kain but Kain can be dangerous if you ignore him. Focus on Yang first
- Wave 3 – This is the hardest trio in the fight. All 3 characters are fast. Lightning can hit hard with her Flourish of Steel. Onion Knights had lots of buff which could push off Faris’ debuffs. Agrias can provide some annoying healing with her Knights Pride and paralysis from her Judgment Blade (make sure Selphie’s Wall is up). I focus on Onion Knight (so that I don’t have waste Faris Cannonfire+ to dispel it) and the next one is Lightning. Do not hesitate to use Cannonfire+ to dispel the buffs when they don’t have the Poison debuff on them. Poison is very useful for the battles. As my characters HP dropped to below 80%, Leviathan Blessing will grant that character a permanent 60% Initial BRV Regen when HP first drops below 80%. Combined with Selphie’s Aura, the EX gauges should be charged faster which is crucial.
- Wave 4 – Hold off Faris’ Cannonfire+ until Ramza buffs themselves. Focus on Balthier, as he is stronger of the 2 units.
- Wave 5 – Sephiroth and Auron can be dangerous when you don’t handle them well. Locke can be dangerous with his Phoenix Ray when he targets all. Do note Sephiroth’s first attack is always Octaslsash (BRV+HP). Have that target character do BRV attack. Try to break Sephiroth and maintain max BRV to negate the damage. Use Cannonfire+ once they get their initial buffs. Try to delay summoning as long as possible until you can’t hold further. Have Squall spam his Renzoukuken+. I focus on Locke (due to his AOE BRV+HP), Auron and lastly Sephiroth.
- Faris Syldra Blessing works well with Leviathan’s Blessing and that is the key to ensure your character has BRV regeneration when their skills run out.
