Thought about doing a video on BRV gain, so I tried to gather data and do ... math and I couldn't quite account for the 10% BRV gain from Diablos and Odin passives combined. Sometimes the math makes sense, sometimes it is 10% off. Then I noticed something odd - the passive is not showing up on the character panel at the start of the quest.
As you can see, only Y'shtola's EX is triggering those 2 passives to appear. It is not some Lv.90 character exclusive bug, healing or taking damage because Lenna healed twice and she is lv 80. No passive appeared every time I checked. I tried Y'shtola's S2 in other runs, only the EX is causing the passives to reappear.
I first discovered this as I was testing BRV damage refund with Zidane, Beatrix and Quistis in divine Pandemonium. It wasn't until a comparison video of different levels of BRV gain that I could account for the presence of the missing 10% exclusively when Y'shtola was present.
As far as I have checked, those passives have no hidden conditions or HP below X% requirements. Even the GL version I booted up just now have them at the start of the quest on the character info panel.
Maybe there is something I do not know about this or this is really just a bug. Lemme know what you think of this. Maybe some of you know something I do not lol.
