Probably done with this batch of events and characters. Don't want to spam videos and ideas again lol.
Turns out 5 turns of Aerith Seal Evil buff / debuff bot with Ashe LDCA is the cleanest route when you put Vayne with rebreakers lol. How is this an even faster run with older units?
It goes without saying that Vayne + CoD was one of the craziest combo at the beginning of Lufenia+. Well it appears that they are still very effective even in an era with so many HP dump updates on later units. The recording with the cleanest run that has more turns of CoD staying abusing Vayne's follow-up was unfortunately corrupted, but fortunately Zell was there to pick up the slacks.
The main idea is to end the fight before Ashe's LDCA runs out. It is also why no Holy enchant unit is needed in person. The buff and debuff management is condensed to having Aerith in the corner putting on her LD debuff on the bosses such that they are unable to gain the buffs while her LD buff provides debuff evasion. It is surprising that she is mechanically still so effective even when we are probably at the tail end of Lufenia+. It is an elegant solution to two problems.
To end the fight without Aerith moving, it naturally falls to consecutive turn units. The fight having only 50% BRV reduction means that he can cap with relative ease. Since the boss delays on orb attack going off at HP thresholds but not being immune to break delays, that means Vayne + Zell + CoD can delay them enough to not have that many turns for Aerith's debuff to stay long enough without needing her spending turns reapplying that much.
While Vayne's DPT may not be enough in the modern era, his follow-up abuse is still very effective when you have another consecutive turn rebreaker by his side. Tidus is naturally another good choice, but in comparison to Zell who can control when to keep breaking consecutively, he may not be the optimal rebreaker partner Vayne needs.
There are two more good things about Vayne that make him fit into this party. One is that he is a party buffer even with just his LD, which compliments Aerith's somewhat "just" sufficient party support in this era. Another thing is that despite Vayne and Zell are primarily ST attackers, his follow-up sweeps all targets for BRV, so it will keep the orb alive without a slight of doubt as long as you actively breaks the target. So it is another clean thing about using Vayne here.
Another tip is since the rationale is to have Aerith be as still as possible in the turn order and finish the fight before her 6th turn (or extend it by a bit with Alexander summon), you can actively spam Seal Evil instead of her HP+++/EX to avoid her high turn rate. Only heal with EX when necessary and hit the target that has the closest turn order or one that has 1 turn of Seal evil debuff left. Use ATK debuff or Dmg dealt down calls to reduce damage and avoid getting broken by orb attack as much as possible so that all party members can regen enough health without needing Aerith to heal. Vayne has a less chance of getting broken with his follow-up refund, so it is mostly Zell that you have to pay attention.
Will try to get Rem and Fang if possible. Still have 4 FFXIV characters in the next 3 months and possibly some others like Laguna waiting to eat my resources.
