Did You Know In INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM…
There is a scene where Willie Scott mistakes a python for an elephant’s trunk, but when the snake and its handler were brought to Sri Lanka, they weren’t very welcome in the country. They even had to book their hotel rooms under the fake, yet appropriate, names, Mr. and Mrs. Longfellow. At one point, Spielberg decided that the writers needed to make changes to the script to save on the budget, and they ended up removing an air chase scene that included vintage biplanes. By removing this one page in the script, they ended up saving one million dollars. They later ended up using the scene in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
