Originally, there was going to be an epilogue that was narrated by Galadriel that would narrate what happened to everyone after the events of the film. They even went as far as to film scenes with Gimli and Legolas, but in the end, they didn’t include this in any version of the film. Also, Faramir’s body being brought back to Minas Tirith was done with extreme caution as they were worried that the horse would bolt and drag his body behind it. They created a release system, and David Wenham held the button in his hand as he was carried on the horse. Luckily, they didn’t have to use it.
