Diner Stools Pack JFG - V4 - Material Instance Usage - How to change color of models - UE4
This is a video I made for the Diner Stools Pack Version 4 I made for Unreal Engine 4.
You can buy the pack here if you are interested: https://www.unrealengine.com/marketplace/en-US/product/c03c31fe34f442288617f0de4a6f1052
If you bought the pack before from the Unreal Marketplace, you should receive this update for free via that platform.
In this video, I am showing how to use the new materials I made for this update. This new material instances will allow you to change the color of the cushion and metal parts of the model. There are two methods, a basic and an advanced which covers individual parts. I covered both in the video.
Note: I am still learning about materials and things like optimization. The way I did it for this pack could be not the best, but it works well for what I wanted to do. I tested the package cooked too and works alright.
Thanks for taking a look!
NOTE: If this video ever comes public, the update is not live yet. It will be live soon. Cheers!
