Summary:
Remake of the KotOR 2 Freedon Nadd Tomb V2 in Unreal Engine 5. [Fan-Art].
V1 Description: This is not a port, I remade all the geometry from scratch and made custom 3D models to build the level. I guided myself with level screenshots as references and through playing the game level in real time.
For this V2 WIP I used more high polygon models from Quixel Megascans. This version is experimental and WIP. Some stuff may look off. Wanted to share since this project was in my PC since a few months ago. I hope I get to finish it someday. I may release a walkthrough demo if I ever do. I may not share the source files for this one since they are quite similar to my V1 version. You can use that version to play around with the project if you want.
My process to do a piece like this, from V1:
1) Pre-Production - analysis of level, shots, layout, etc.
2) Grayboxing and Quick Testing for player scale and navigation.
3) Layout Mesh pass/Production. I made 3D models to complete the piece, Did Grayboxing in 3D Studio Max, and used Brushes from Unreal too. Level is not exact scale from the original. All geometry remade by me [except Quixel assets]. No source/original-game 3D level files were used to achieve this piece.
4) Post-Production. Made final touches, prepared package, organized files, cooked, made a video.

Special thanks to Quixel for their scans because this scene uses possibly 70%+ or more from their Megascans collection. The models I built for this scene are quite simple so the Megascans are what makes this piece come together as it is for this V2. Without their megascans, building this map would had took more time to make it look close to what you see in the video.
