Disgaea 5 - Item Worlds Duplication Room
49Even though I am more or less done with Disgaea 5, that sadly doesn't mean I am done with my guides and other work, which means I'm still playing/doing things. With this in mind, I figured I would show off the duplication room.
For those of you who don't already know what the duplication room is, basically it's an extremely rare (probably the rarest room in all of Item World with the exception of maybe the legendary weapon room, which is tied with it) mystery room that awards anyone who can get to the top of the tower with a chance of the item they're in being duplicated. This is the ORIGINAL version, not the upgraded version, so if you have +500 levels on your item and you duplicate it, then you'll have a level 1 version. Same goes for innocents, so if you subdued them, but haven't left Item World, then you'll need to do so again.
But anyway, there is a bit of negativity attached to the room. As mentioned above, it is pass/fail, meaning getting the room and jumping to the top is not enough to guarantee a duplicate. You still have to get lucky (wikis claim it's an 80% chance at success, where as I would estimate closer to 50 or 60%) and can walk away with a failure. But at the same time, it makes winning feel so much better and unlike previous Disgaea's, this is just something that will either happen or not happen along the way. So if you're power leveling a weapon you might get lucky, might not get lucky, but whatever the case might be, it will save you time in the end.
